Independent Publishing Imprint
B.W. Alan
Stories that linger.
B.W. Alan is an independent publishing imprint for stories that refuse to disappear when the page ends.
Some stories are born from longing.
Some from grief.
Some from the places we go when the ordinary world isn't enough.
B.W. Alan is home to fiction that lives in those spaces.
Dark romance.
Dark fantasy.
Literary fiction.
Stories of love, loss, memory, power, and the things we carry long after we thought we had let them go.
These are stories written to be felt as much as read.

A Home for Stories That Don't Fit
B.W. Alan was created as a home for the stories that don't fit neatly inside a single box.
A story can be romantic and unsettling.
It can be beautiful and dark.
It can begin in grief and become something magical.
It can cross genres without asking permission.
The only requirement is that it leaves something behind.
A feeling.
A question.
A wound.
A little piece of itself.
The Philosophy
Words Should Bear Witness
Stories matter because people matter.
The work published under B.W. Alan is rooted in the same belief that shapes everything written under the name:
Words should bear witness.
To love.
To loss.
To longing.
To survival.
To the parts of ourselves we don't always know how to name.
Some stories entertain us.
Some stories challenge us.
And some stories find us at exactly the moment we need them.
Those are the stories B.W. Alan wants to publish.
Some stories end.
Some stories linger.
B.W. Alan publishes the ones that linger.
